1st JSMC Symposium

The Graduate School of Excellence ‚Jena School for Microbial Communication (JSMC)' holds its annual symposium to foster exchange among its scientists and between its scientists and industry partners. Moreover, the JSMC Symposium highlights the exceptional significance of biotechnology in science and industry in the city of Jena.

The PhD Students of JSMC presented their research projects and discussed their results. Representatives of the JSMC partner companies gave their perspectives of potential for exchange with JSMC and outlined their envisaged requirement profiles for postgraduates from JSMC. Poster sessions provided opportunities to exchange ideas and to establish contacts for collaborations.
